Founded in 1997 by Kirstin Doyle and Michelle
Doyle, this professional modern and jazz company is made
up of area dancers and presents a wide variety of works
to a diverse audience. The company has performed at
the Minnesota Dance Festival, MDA's Choreomania, Bloomington
Center for the Arts, and other smaller annual venues.
Deuxmensions' repertoire features classical modern works
performed to music ranging from drum rhythms and gospel
hymns to Celtic and Argentine music. Their jazz pieces
include suites set to blues and swing.
